Last night was the crowned king concert.

HOLY FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I take the skytrain and meet Val at Joyce station!! We take the skytrain to downtown, and wander around for a bit. We went to an awesome pawn shop, and also the Rock Shop!! We also got to see the bum with the penis enlargement sign!!

We were kinda late picking up Jen from work. On the way to her work there was this group of skateboarder guys riding on the sidewalk telling people to get out of the way. Kinda hard when the sidewalks were so crowded that there was nowhere to go.

We picked Jen up, and started walking towards Burrard skytrain station. On the way there she almost fell off the curb, and some old guy commented on her "dance moves".

We picked up Jess at the seabus place, she was kinda pissed that we were a tiny bit late! She's hilarious when she's mad!

We took the seabus to North Van. The city lights looked really cool!!!

After getting off the seabus, we took some bus to the Seylynn Hall. Some people who were going to the same concert as us got off, so we followed them! We didn't get that lost or anything, and took a shitload of pictures. I think by the time we got there we were sorta blind from all the flashing. Not to mention Jen's camera with the nuclear-powered flash tanned half my face!

It was really cold out, and we had to wait in line for a long time. I met Val's/Jen's/Jess's buddy Kayla aka girl-who-liked-to-touch-her-boobs-a-lot, she was pretty cool. Waiting in line was boring, so we went to the corner store nearby, but not before having to cross the most treacherous street I have ever crossed!! Cars just wouldn't stop coming, then another group of people walked out right onto the street and made the cars stopped, and we made it across without being hit several times.

There was a lot of porn in that store, and Val and Jen thought it would be funny if we all bought porn magazines and read them on the bus! We never ended up doing that though... how sad :(

I bought some beef jerky and an OLD pepsi. I guess I shoulda checked the expiry date of the jerky, it was probably older than I am. Great, now I'm gonna die of salmonella and herpes (don't ask me how you can catch herpes from eating a piece of jerky haha).

Waiting in line kinda sucked but it wasn't too bad, we passed the time really well! They finally let us in, and they said there we're no "in-outs". While my mind was in the gutter, everybody else groaned because that meant no one could go outside for a smoke break.

The hall quickly filled up with people, and we were all squished in the middle. At some point Kayla was tired or trying to get the white lint off her boobs (so THAT'S what she was doing!), so she took off her shirt and changed... RIGHT THERE!!! I shoulda taken a picture but she woulda probably kicked my ass :P

The first band that played was Haf-Wit, who I also saw play at Richelle's party. They were ok. Next band up was Surefire, and THEY KICKED ASS!!!

I saw Stacey, Carlie, Drew, and also Nikki, who I didn't recognize at first because of her new haircut!! Stacey made me skank, that was kinda awesome.

Finally Crowned King came on, and they rocked the place!!! It was great, there was MUCH crowd-surfing and stuff, and then my camera batteries ran out. Ah shit. Crowned King fucking KICKS ASS!!

It was so fucking hot and stuffy in that place though. I was so happy to get outta there by the time they were done! I could breathe again, and I could barely hear a thing.

After that we got on a bus to Joyce Stn, and the bus seat nearly swallowed Jen whole! When we got to Joyce, and went to subway. I think they traumatized the subway guy there for life, because he was chinese, and they asked him what a rickshaw is and he didn't know! After that we went to Joyce Stn, and saw that the last bus and skytrains were running until 1:30 - 2 am. So we decided to hang out for a little while longer!

Me, Val, and Jen decided to walk all the way up some huge hill to a school, while Jess stayed behind to catch the bus up there cause she was lazy! As we were climbing up that steep hill (I wish I had brought an oxygen tank with me), Jess passes by us in her bus, laughing! I don't think I've ever shaken my fist that hard ;)

At the school we went onto the field, and tried to find a way into the playground. After I tried unuccessfully chewing through the fence, we went alllllll the way around, only to fine another entrance right by where we were before!

We played on the playground for a while, then Jen had to go home, and I went to Domino's pizza, cause I had no other choice. Jess and Val came into Domino's, and while I was eating, they drew an AWESOME picture for them to put up on the wall. And they actually put it up!! We had a ton of laughs in there.... it rocked!

Then we went to the skytrain station, and waited for the last skytrain home. I gave Val and Jess the last of my Domino's pizza, said bye, and got on the skytrain!

Shit man, the skytrain was crazy. I think I was the only sober person on it! There was a chick puking in a bag, another drunk chick hitting on the skytrain officers, the officers hitting on her too, some drunk old man nearly molesting a chick, some drunk indian talking to the drunk old man and they were laughing REALLY loud.
